HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-551CITY or FLMOOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day of smntember, 1990 The following members were present: Mayor Berm, Councilmembers Helliwell,, Ricker. Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember. Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 90-551 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT 4284/WOODRIDGE CHURCH AT WAYZATA SR. HIGH SCHOOL (90075) WHEREAS, Independent School District 4284/Woodridge Church has requested approval for a Conditional Use Permit to allow church use of a school facility as a temporary site for worship and religious education for Wayzata Sr. High School located at the southeast corner of Teakwood Lane and Sunset Trail; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Independent School District 4284/Woodridge Church for a Conditional Use Permit to allow church use of a school facility as a temporary site for worship and religious education for Wayzata Sr. High School located at the southeast corner of Teakwood Lane and Sunset Trail, subject to the following conditions: 1. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. 2. The permit is issued to Independent School District 4284 for the proposed Woodridge Church use. 3. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner. 4. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within approved -4esignated areas. 5. No signage is allowed relative to the use except that a temporary sign not to exceed 20 square feet in area will be permitted between one hour prior to and one hour after the service. 6. The permit shall be reviewed annually to assure compliance with the conditions. 7. All parking shall be off-street in designated areas which comply with the Zoning Ordinance. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _�Javor Bergman, Counciimembers The following voted against or abstained None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
