HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-543CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of September 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker. Vasiliou. and Zitur The following members were absent: None Cnunrilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-543 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS NORTHWEST BLVD./SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 011 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90-495 of the City Council adopted the 6th day of August, 1990, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the improvements to Northwest Boulevard from 45th Avenue to Schmidt Lake Road and also Schmidt Lake Road from Northwest Boulevard to Pineview Lane; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of a 52 foot wide 9 ton roadway with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, watermain for both Northwest Boulevard and Schmidt Lake Road along with an 8 foot wide bituminous trail along the east side of Northwest Boulevard, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 10th day of September, 1990, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; I. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted August 6, 1990. 2. Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. is designated as engineer for the improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Helliwell Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
