Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the loth day of September ,
1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers ,
Helliwel.l., Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-539
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE, EASEMENTS FOR PONDING IN
OUTLOT A - STEEPLECHASE 5TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a certain drainage easement for ponding in
Outlot A, Steeplechase 5th Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for September 10,
1990, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.$51 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of September 10, 1990; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by
10 mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on September 10, 1990, to inform any and
all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a certain drainage easement for
ponding in Outlot A, Steeplechase 5th Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following drainage easement for ponding purposes be vacated:
The drainage easement for ponding purposes within Outlot A, Steeplechase 5th
Addition, according to the plat thereof, on file or of record in the office
of the Registrar of Titles, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Beraman Councilmembers Halliwell RickeK. Vasiliou-
and
asiliou and Zitur
.The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
