HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-529CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rPg,,1;3r meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20rh day of A:ig»Gr 1990. The following were present: Helliwell. Zitur. Vasillou. Ricker, Bergman The following members were absent: None i *,r,r Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.90-529 ADOPTING PROPOSED 1991 BUDGETS WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared proposed 1991 budgets for fiscal year commencing January 1, 1991 based upon the requirements of the State Tex Law; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the 1991 proposed operating budgets for the following funds are hereby preliminary approved: General Fund Budget $ 12,924,100 Recreation Fund Budget 613,000 Forestry Fund Budget 313,000 Water Fund Budget 2,690,000 Sewer Fund Budget 3,748,900 Central Equipment Fund Budget 1,666,500 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, (i) that the City Council concurs on the 1991 Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority budget in the amount of $654,900. (ii) that this proposed operating budget resolution and the accompanying proposed tax levies contained in Resolution No. 90-530 are being submitted by the City in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, and other applicable law in effect on this date; (iii) that the Resolutions represent a good faith effort by the City to substantially comply with applicable law; and (iv) that the City Council declares its intent to take all necessary actions legally permissible to conform with the laws, rulings, and regulations now or hereafter applicable to the submission and approval of the City's budget and tax levies both proposed and final. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof;_ Helliwell. Zitur. Vasiliou h icer. Bergman The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
