Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of
August , 1990. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou. and Zitur ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption
RESOLUTION NO. 90-521
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
COUNTY ROAD 101/COUNTY ROAD 9
TRUNK WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 012
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on August 6, 1990, the
City's Consulting Engineer, Rieke, Carroll, Muller Associates, Inc., has
prepared plans and specifications for the County Road 101/County Road 9
Watermain Improvements by the installation of trunk watermain along County
Road 101 from the water tower site south of Highway 55 to County Road 9 then
easterly to Xene Lane, and has presented such plans and specifications to the
Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA;
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and
specifications. The advertisement shall be published once shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received
by the City Clerk until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 1990, at
which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of
the Plymouth City Center Building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard,
Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of
such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Reso!ution was duly seconded by
Coun 11mem6 et iw ll , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol:owing

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
