Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of
August • , 1990. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. Vasiliou. and Zitur ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-514
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - 47TH AVENUE AND QUINWOOD LANE
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the property owners requesting
installation of ornamental residential street lighting on 47th Avenue and
Quinwood Lane.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 47th
Avenue/Quinwood Lane by the installation of residential ornamental
street lighting, filed with the City Council on August 20, 1990, is
hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners
of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in
conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and
they have waived their rights to public improvement and special
assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is
instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the
proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement
and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman. Councilmembprs H 111w 11- Ric P ,
Vasiliou. and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
