Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of August ,
1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman. Councilmemherc ,
Helliwell, Ricker. Vasiliou. and Zitur
The following members were absent: None .�
Coon iher Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-479
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
45TH/46TH AVENUE TRAIL
CITY PROJECT NO. 024
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 45th/46th
Avenue Trail, and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

Bituminous Consulting b Contr. Co., Inc. $ 30,230.95
Barber Const. Co. 34,252.00
Midwest Asphalt Corp. 34,907.50
WHEREAS, it appears that Bituminous Consulting and Contracting Company, Inc. is the
lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Bituminous Consulting and Contracting
Company, Inc. in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction
of the 45th/46th Avenue Trail according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of
$30,230.95.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell.Ricker. Vasiliou, and ,
. Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
