Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of
August , 1990. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-478
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
SCHMIDT GARDENS ADDITION WATERMAIN
CITY PROJECT NO. 034
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted June 18, 1990 a
report has been prepared by Rieke Carroll Muller Assoc., Inc. with respect to
the watermain improvement to the Schmidt Gardens Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the installation of an eight inch
watermain from County Road 101 to Schmidt Gardens Addition and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on August 6, 1990.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in
accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited
property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to
429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $85,200.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement
on the 10th day of September 1990, in the Council Chambers
of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at
7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published
notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, ,
Vasiliou. and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
