Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of
August-, 1990 The following members were present: Mayor Bergman,
Councilm—tiers Helliwell Rink Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
CounrilMM*b&z Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 90-472
APPROVING LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (90031)
WHEREAS? the City of Plymouth has requested approval for a Land Use Guide Plan
amendment to reclassify the new elementary school site from CL (Limited
Business) District to LA -1 (Low Density Residential) District; and to
reclassify property located north of State Highway 55 and east of the 41st
Avenue North cul-de-sac at approximately Kimberly Lane (extended) from CL
(Limited Business) District to CS (Service Business) District; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly
scheduled Public Hearing and has recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
reclassification of land use guiding for the City of Plymouth for
approximately 30 acres located at the new elementary school site from CL
(Limited Business) District to LA -1 (Low Denisty Residential) District; and
north of State Highway 55 and east of the 41st Avenue North cul-de-sac at
approximately Kimberly Lane (extended) from CL (Limited Business) District to
CS (Service Business) District.
FURTHER, approval of the Land Use Guide Plan amendment is contingent upon, and
subject to the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Counc+ .rUr , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in savor thereof: Mavor_Beraman. Councilmembers
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
