HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-465CITY Ot PLYDOWTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _ regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of AuquBt� 199_ The following members were present: error Bergman,- `�� 1wr�wF.arm gel l 9 gyral l , R_inkar, Vaailioux and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmamber Vasiliou introduced the following Revolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 90-465 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR VERN REYNOLDS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR "BASS LAKE TERRACE" (90050) WHEREAS, Vern Reynolds Construction Company has requested approval for a Preliminary Plat for the development of 122 single family detached lots on a site of 80.3 acres located east of 1-494 and north of the Soo Line Railroad; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and reccamends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Vern Reynolds Construction for a Preliminary Plat for the development of 122 single family detached lots on a site of 80.3 acres located east of 1-494 and north of the Soo Line Railroad, subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Removal of all dead or dying trees from the property at the owner's expense. 3. No building permits shall be issued until a contract has been awarded for sewer and water. 4. Payment of park dedication fees -in -lieu of dedication in accordance with the Dedication Policy in effect at the time of filing the Final Plat. 5. Street names shall comply with the City Street Naming System. 6. Compliance with Policy Resolution 79-80 regarding minimum floor elevations for new structures in subdivisions adjacent to, or containing any open storm water drainage facility. 7. No building permits shall be issued until the Final Plat is filed and recorded with Hennepin County. (see next page) Resolution No. 90-465 File 90050 Page Two S. incorporation of tree protection provisions in the Final Plat and Development Contract approval. 9. Lots adjacent to west Medicine Lake Road shall be platted as outlots until such time as title to the vacated right-of-way of west Medicine Lake Road is in the name of the applicant. 10. Temporary access through the plat form west Medicine Lake Road to Teakwood Lane/Vinewood Lane shall be provided until Northwest Boulevard is completed from County Road 47 to County Road 9. 11. All rights-of-way will be included in the initial Final Plat. 12. Approval by the Metropolitan Council of the Land Use Guide Plan amendments adopted by the City Council December 18, 1989, prior to any site improvements. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmemher Zitur ., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor Barg=y Counci]mamhars Halliwell, Ricker, Vaailiou, and Zitur ' The following voted against or abstained None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
