Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day
of A,11g11st , 199 The following members were present:

Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 90-459
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT AS A PART OF THE
JOINT COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM YEAR XVI
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and the County of Hennepin have executed a joint
cooperation agreement (County Contract 70488) for the purposes of the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block
Grant Program as approved by the City Council under Resolution 87-553; and,
WHEREAS, that County contract covers the period for fiscal years 1988, 1989,
and 1990 (also known as CDBG Funding Years XIV, XV, XVI); and,
WHEREAS, the City has been informed by Hennepin County that a subrecipient
agreement to that contract is needed pursuant to the CDBG Program Entitlement
Grant Regulations issued by the Department of Housing and Urban Development
found in 24 CFR Part 570.503;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize the Mayor and
City Manager to execute Subrecipient Agreement AO -5730 as part of the Joint
Cooperation Agreement, County Contract 70488, regarding the Community
Development Block Grant funding for Year XVI.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers
Helliwell Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained None _
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
