HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-451CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of August 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman. Councilmembers Helliwell , Ricker. Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None iC 7Y iC )C iC if XlC X C.nnnrilmemhPr Z.ir_nr introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90- 451 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS FOR PONDING PURPOSES IN OUTLOT J -- PARKERS LAKE NORTH 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain utility and drainage easements and drainage easement for ponding purposes in Parkers Lake North 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for August 6, 1990, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of August 6, 1990; and • WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on August 6, 1990 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain utility and drainage easements and drainage easement for ponding purposes in Parkers Lake North 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following utility and drainage easements and drainage easement for ponding purposes be vacated: The drainage and utility easements and drainage easement for ponding purposes over all of Outlot J, Parkers Lake North 2nd Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by C:nuncilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken hhereon, the following voted 10in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and 7.i t„r The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
