Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 15th day of
Juiy , 1990 The following members were present: Councilmembers
Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zit r
The following members were absent: Mayor A ama_n
Cnil+nr Zitur _ introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 90-435
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT AMONG THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, NORTHERN STATES POWER
(NSP), AND WEST HENNEPIN HUMAN SERVICES (WHHS) FOR A COMMUNITY ENERGY COUNCIL
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission has ordered NSP to
implement a conservation improvement program in several cities it serves; and,
WHEREAS, the West Hennepin Human Services Agency has agreed to perform Home
Energy Check-ups and other administrative duties as necessary at no cost to
the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the proposed agreement and has
recommended some changes to protect the City's interest; and,
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority has reviewed the
proposal and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve an agreement among
the City of Plymouth, Northern States Power, and West Hennepin Human Services
for a Community Energy Council Program provided the agreement be modified as
per the City Attorney's suggested changes in his letter of June 11, 1990.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by CouaCjjM2M er He>>;weii , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Helliwell.
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
