HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-420CITY OF PLYMOUTH W Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of July 1990. The following members were present: Councilme_m_b_ers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: Mayor Bergman Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90- 420 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT WITHIN LOTS 6 AND 7, BLOCK 4, PARKERS LAKE NORTH 3RD ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a certain drainage and utility easement in Lots 6 and 7, Block 4, Parkers Lake North 3rd Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for July 16, 1990 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of July 16, 1990; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on July 16, 1990 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a certain drainage and utility easement in Lots 6 and 7, Block 4, Parkers Lake 3rd Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easement be vacated: That part of the drainage and utility easement dedicated in Lot 6 and 7, Block 4, Parkers Lake North 3rd Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Registrar of Titles in and for Hennepin County, MN, which is adjacent to the boundary between raid Lot 6 and said Lot 7, EXCEPT the northerly 5.00 feet and the southerly 10.0 feet thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. *or9t 9eieeec x,r,t
