HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-382CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of June , 1990. The following members were present: , mayor Bergman,_Oouncilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-382 APPROVING NO PARKING SIGN INSTALLATION ON 7TH AVENUE BETWEEN VICKSBURG LANE AND RANCHVIEW LANE WHEREAS, the Independent School District No. 284 has a Student Parking Permit System for Wayzata Senior High; and WHEREAS, this program causes dislocation of some student vehicles from off- street school parking lots to on -street locations; and WHEREAS, the residents on certain streets have requested restrictive parking; and WHEREAS, the City desires to minimize on -street parking to enhance vehicular and pedestrian safety. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it hereby authorizes the installation of No Parking signs at the following locations: "No Parking - 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., School Days" 7th Avenue between Vicksburg Lane and Ranchview Lane The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Hel?iwell, Ricker, Vasiliou. and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
