Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of June , 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman. Councilmembers , Helliwell Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-368 RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT SCHMDT GARDENS WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT CITY PROJECT NO. 034 WHEREAS, certain property owners within the Schmidt Gardens Subdivision have petitioned the City to connect the existing dead watermain within their subdivision to the future trunk watermain proposed for Highways 101 and 55; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the proposed watermain improvements to connect Schmidt Gardens with 10 the city municipal water system be referred to Rieke Carroll Muller Associates, Inc. for the study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether is should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor ergmg. Councilmemhers Helliwell- Ricker. , Vasiliou_and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
