Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of June
1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers
Helliwell. Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-353
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
25TH AVENUE WATERMAIN
STREET AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 025
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90-299 of the City Council adopted the 7th day of May, 1990,
fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the improvements to 25th Avenue from
approximately 140 feet east of Lancaster Lane to Kilmer Lane; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of 350 feet of six inch
watermain, five one inch water services and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of
the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 21st day of May,
1990, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be
heard thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA;
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution
adopted May 7th, 1990.
2. Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc. is designated as engineer for the
improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making
of such improvement.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Mayor Beraman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof.: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou,
and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
