HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-351CITY OF PLYWKM Pursuant to due call and notice there, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, was held on the 4th day of June, 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Berge, Councilmembers Helli ell, Ricker, Vasiliou, an zitur. . The following members were absent: None CouOilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-351 DECLARING A NATURAL PRESERVE WHEREAS, Plymouth City Code, Section 810.03, provides that the City Council may declare certain lands within the City of Plymouth as natural preserves; and WHEREAS, such properties acquired as natural preserves are exempted from the nuisance height provisions of the ordinance, but are still subject to the noxious weed prohibition; and WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the five property owners living immediately adjacent to property located immediately south of 6th Avenue North and immediately east of Xenium Lane. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, declare a natural preserve for property lying immediately south of 6th Avenue North, commencing immediately east of Xenium Lane and shown on the attached half -section map; and FURTHER, that the staff is directed to advise the Need Inspector of such declaration in order that this property can be entered into the records as a "natural preserve" for the purposes of Plymouth City Code Section 810.03. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted n avor thereof: Mayor Berymm, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker. Vasiliou- and Zitur, The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Revolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
