HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-350CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of _tune , 1990. The following members were present: , Mayor Berman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and 7.itur The following members were absent: None Couneilmelber Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90- 350 RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS COUNTY ROAD 9'COUNTY ROAD 101 TRUNK WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 012 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as part of the 1990 Capital Improvements Program is proposing to improve its Municipal Water System by constructing a 16" and 20" trunk watermain; WHEREAS, Rieke, Carroll, Muller Associates, Inc. was designated as the consulting engineer for the project, and a Preliminary Engineering Report was ordered as part of the 1990 Capital Improvements Program; and WHEREAS, the report for the County Road 9/County Road 101 Trunk Watermain Improvements has been prepared and is received by the Council on June 4, 1990; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $678,900. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 2nd -day of July, 1990, in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adaption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmemher Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, VAnilinti- and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
