HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-348CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _ regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of June , 1990. The following members were present: mayor Berman. Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Vnineilmemher Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 90-348 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 25TH AVENUE TRUNK WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 908 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on July 24, 1989, the City's Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the 25th Avenue Trunk Watermain Improvements by the installation of trunk watermain from 27th Avenue North through the public works water tower site to Niagara Lane, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday June 26, 1990 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center Building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
