HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-331CITY Of BLMIOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice there, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, was held on the 219t_ day of May , 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers _Helliwell,_ Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur _ The following members were absent: None Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-331 FIRE TRUCK NO. 1 - CONVEY TO PLYMOUTH HISTORICAL SOCIETY WHEREAS, the Plymouth Historical Society has indicated its willingness to assume the obligation to store and maintain fire truck No. 1 for the benefit of the general public; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the public interest to convey the fire truck to the Historical Society. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to enter into an agreement to convey fire truck No. 1 to the Plymouth Historical Society for the sum of $1 and other valuable consideration. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:_Mavor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
