HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-323CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of __ May 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-323 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID 9TH AVENUE/RANCHVIEW LANE CITY PROJECT NO. 947 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 9th Avenue/Ranchview Lane Street and Storm Sewer Improvements Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Valley Paving Widmer, Inc. • Brown and Cris B. b D. Underground Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. GMHS Asphalt Hardrives Alber Const. Northwest Asphalt 0. & P. Contractors Alexander Const. Dave Perkins Contractors, Inc. S.M. Hentges G.L. Contracting Northdale Const. C.S. McCrossan $ 158,940.75 167,809.23 169,346.48 171,248.00 173,177.23 173,273.60 180,508.15 181,899.80 182,519.20 182,845.25 187,213.28 188,505.30 188,821.50 190,053.00 192,433.50 233,027.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Valley Paving of Shakopee, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Valley Paving of Shakopee, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the 9th Avenue/Ranchview Lane Street and Storm Sewer Improvements, City Project No. 947, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $158,940.75. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
