Bergman The following members were absent: None Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 90- 310 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID BREATHING AIR COMPRESSORS WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for breathing air compressors, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: COMPANY Air Power Equipment Corporation COHPRESSAir and Equipment Company JRL Marketing bF�T A� $62.970.00 64,817.00 70,064.50; and, WHEREAS, the bid of Air Power Equipment Corporation is hereby declared non- responsive because the equipment bid provides for a 5000 PSI unit rather than 6000 PSI as specified, the bid was not accompanied by the required bid security and the bid was submitted 20 minutes after the advertised opening time; and, WHEREAS, COMPRESSAir and Equipment Company is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.; and, NOW, THEREFORE LET IT HEREBY BE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA : 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with COMPRESSAir and Equipment Company in the name of the City of Plymouth for the purchase of breathing air compressors in the accordance with specifications approved by the City Council in the amount of $64,817. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Counci'membggr Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: H211 we11 _Rte kgr, 2iryr, Vasiliou.
