Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota,
was held on the 7th day of May , 1990 The following

Resolution and moved its adoption:
introduced the following
RESOLUTION 90- 307
APPROVING FIRE DEPARTMENT MEMBERSHIP IN SOUTHWEST MUTUAL AID PACT
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Fire Department is responsible for
responding to requests for fire suppression and dealing
appropriately with hazardous material's incidents; and,
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Fire Department is a paid on-call
department; and,
WHEREAS, firefighting and handling of hazardous materials
incidents can be more effectively handled through a mutual aid
pact; and,
WHEREAS, the Southwest Mutual Aid Association has achieved a high
degree of hazardous materials incident capabilities;
NOW, THEREFORE LET IT HEREBY BE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA enters into a mutual aid
agreement with the Southwest Mutual Aid Association.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by
Cguncilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mavor Bergman, Councilmembers
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
