Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of
May , 1990. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur ,
The following members were absent: None
Cnunrilmemher 2irur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-300
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
NORTHWEST TRUNK SANITARY SEWER
CITY PROJECT NO. 014
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as part of the 1990 Capital Improvements Program
is proposing to improve the Northwest Sanitary Sewer District by constructing
a trunk sanitary sewer; and
WHEREAS, Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc. was designated as the Consulting
Engineer for the project, and a Preliminary Engineering Report was ordered as
part of the 1990 Capital Improvements Program; and
WHEREAS, the report for the improvements of the Northwest Trunk Sanitary Sewer
from Point 70 to Point 76 has been prepared and is received by the Council on
May 7, 1990;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in
accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited
property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to
429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,869,120.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement
on the 21st day of May, 1990, in the Council Chambers of
the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00
p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice
of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ricker and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman- Council -members Helliwell. Ri ker. ,
Vacilinn,_and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
