Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on a 7th day of May , 1990.
The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker,
VgsijigV. and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Quugr,ilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90- 287
APPROVING ON -SALE AND SUNDAY INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE FOR
GFT, INC., 605 WEST HIGHWAY 169
WHEREAS, the City has received an application for an intoxicating on -sale and Sunday
liquor license from GFT, Inc., for the premises at 605 West Highway 169; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has conducted an investigation and finds no reason to
deny the license; and
WHEREAS, following required published and posted notice, the City Council conducted a
public hearing and finds no reason to deny the license.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA,
that an on -sale intoxicating and Sunday liquor license is hereby approved for GFT,
Inc., d/b/a Yesterday's, 605 West Highway 169, for the period May 8, 1990, through
January 31, 1991, with the following conditions:
1. That a Certificate of Occupancy be obtained,
2. That the liquor license is only for that area for which zoning approvals have
been granted as of May 7, 1990, and
3. That the licensee shall post local alcohol resources (e.g. carding policy and
D.W.I. avoidance training) for bartender/waitperson use in order to minimize
public safety related problems.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
HC111well , and upon vote being taken thereon, -The
following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker,
VastlLgu. and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and a opte
