. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of April
1990. The following members were present: Moor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell,
Ricker, and Zitur
The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou
Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:

RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
FIRE STATION NO. I
DEMOLITION OF EXISTING BUILDING AND
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BUILDING
CITY PROJECT NO. 825
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of a new Fire
Station No. I and demolition of the existing building, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Palani Construction of Minneapolis, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Palani Construction of Minneapolis, MN
in the name of the City of Plymouth for Fire •Station No. I, in
accordance with the plans and specifications approved by the City
Council in the amount of $726,000 which includes Alt. No. I.

2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Counc_ilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained:

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
