HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-280Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th
day of April , 1990. The following members were present:
Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, and Zitur
The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:

WHEREAS, the City 0ouncil desires to maintain a wage and benefit structure
neoessary to recruit and maintain high quality individuals in city employment;
and
WWWAS, the iapleme•►tatiox of an "Employee Flexible Benefit Account Plan -
represents an in the City's wage and supplemental benefit program;
and
MWM, the proposed "Employee Flexible Benefit Account Plan" is designed to
c alply with the provisions of Section 125 and 129 of the Internal Revenue Code
of 1978; and
W22WAS, representatives of the City Attorney's office have reviewed the
Proposed Plan;
KW, ZINE, BE IT ICY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does authorize the
iaQlaoerttation of an Employee Flexible Benefit Account Plan effective July 1,
1990 for all city employees who are P.E.R.A. qualified.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
_Cminrilmember Ricker t and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell,
Ricker- and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
