HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-278CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of April , 1990. The following members were present: , Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, and Zitur The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90- 278 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 15, 16 AND FINAL FIRE STATION NO. 3 CITY PROJECT NO. 615 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Terwisscha Construction, Inc., as contractor, have entered into an agreement for the construction of Fire Station No. 3 said agreement being dated July 20, 1988; and WHEREAS, the architect, Boarman and Associates has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $1,356,400.00, eight change orders in the amount of $37,402.76 were approved, and the value of the work to date is $1,393,802.76. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for construction of Fire Station No. 3 and certified to the Council by the architect as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 15, 16 and Final in the amount of $16,313.26 to Terwisscha Construction, Inc. for construction of Fire Station NO. 3 is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Rcker, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
