Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _ regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of _ April ,
1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman. Councilmembers ,
Helliwell- Ricker. and 2i_fur
The following members were absent: Coun ilm mb_r Va iliou
Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-259
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
1990 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 001
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 26th day of February, 1990, fixed
a date for a public hearing with respect to certain streets in maintenance Districts 4,
8, 10 and 11 as designed in the 1989 Pavement Management Bi -Annual Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given
and the hearing was held thereon the 19th day of March, 1990, at which time all persons
desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon;
WHEREAS, the project was referred back to the Assessment Committee for reconsideration;
and
WHEREAS, the Assessment Committee has now made a recommendation thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA;
1. Such improvements are hereby ordered as proposed in the Council
resolution adopted February 26, 1990, as revised.
2. Short -Elliott -Hendrickson, Inc. is designated as engineer for the
improvements. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such improvements.
3. The project includes:
A. The widening to a bituminous pavement varying from 25 feet to 33
feet wide with concrete curb and gutter of:
18th Ave. N. from Kilmer Ln. to E. Medicine Lk. Blvd.
21st Ave. N. from Kilmer Ln. to Lancaster Ln.
22nd Ave. N. from Kilmer Ln. to 136 feet west. and 180 feet north
23rd Ave. N. from Kilmer Ln. to E. Medicine Lk. Blvd.
25th Ave. N. from Kilmer Ln. to Lancaster Ln.
• Lancaster Ln. from E. Med. Lk. Blvd. to dead end.
Lancaster Ln. from E. Med. Lk. Blvd. to 26th Ave. N.
Nathan Ln. from 26th Ave. N. to E. Med. Lk. Blvd.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Mayor Berman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker_ and Zjfjjr,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
