HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-166CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 26th day of Fehruarvy , 1990. The following members were present: , Mngnr Bergman. Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Counci1mPmher Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90- 166 ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAY WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of Plymouth, Minnesota that the street hereinafter described should be designated as a Municipal State Aid street under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, COUNTY OF HENNEPIN, that the road described as follows to -wit: Holly Lane from proposed Schmidt Lake Road to Rockford Road be, and hereby is established, located, and designated a Municipal State Aid Street of said City subject to the approval of the Ccomissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion thereof, that the same be constructed, improved, and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by .ouncilmeember Ricker and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Hellbwell Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
