HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-163CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 26th day of February , 1990. The following members were present: , Mayor Bergman. Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker. Vas{ltnn_ and Zir„r , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90- 163 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - HERITAGE WOODS ESTATES SECOND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the developer requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Heritage Woods Estates Second Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Heritage Woods Estates Second Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on February 26, 1990, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
