HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-154CITY OF PLYMD= Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on 26th day of February 1990 . The following members were preaMt: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur. The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 90-154 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT WEST MEDICINE LAKE TRAIL 18TH AVENUE SOUTH TO RAILROAD TRACKS CITY PROJECT NO. 931 WHEREAS, the 1990 Capital Improvements Program calls for the extension of the West Medicine Lake trail, and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has recommended construction of said trail, and WHEREAS, a preliminary engineering report is required to define the necessary improvements and estimated costs, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the proposed improvements be referred to Strgar- Roscoe-Faush for study and that the engineer be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and the cost for said improvement. FURTHER, that the the work shall be performed in accordance with the existing Engineering Services Agreement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _Oouncilmember Ricker and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilme_mbe_rs Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou. and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
