HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-137CITY OF PLYMOUTH *Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 26th day of February 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman. Councilmembers Helliwell , Bicker. Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-137 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS IN LOTS 4 AND 5, BLOCK 1 INDUSTRIAL PARK 494 ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in Lots 4 and 5, Block 1, Industrial Park 494 Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for February 26, 1990 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of February 26, 1990; and &EREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on February 26, 1990 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain drainage and utility easements in Lots 4 and 5, Block 1, Industrial park 494 Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the followipg drainage and utility easements be vacated: All utility and drainage easements as donated and dedicated and shown on Lots 4 and 5, Block 1, Industrial Park 494, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, except the east 20.00 feet of said Lots 4 and 5 and except the south 10.00 feet of the west 31.50 feet of said Lot 4 and except the north 10.00 feet of the west 31.50 feet of said Lot 5. The motion f9 the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councirmmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman- Councilmembers Helliwell- Ricker- Vasiliou, and , .,'Ke following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
