HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-131CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular - meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 26th day of February , 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, , Rirkaar- Vanilina,, anti Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-131 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS IN BLOCK 2 SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in Block 2 Scherer Industrial Development; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for February 26, 1990 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a n(,tice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of February 26, 1990 and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on February 26, 1990 to inform any and lball interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain drainage and utility easements in Block 2 Scherer Industrial Development Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easements be vacated: The west 12.00 feet of the east 232.18 feet of Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by rQj,nCilmnmhPr 7tr.,r , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
