Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Cit
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 26th day of
February 1990. The following were present: Mayor Bergman,
Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Vasiliou ink the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:

1989 WEED ERADICATICN AND DESRRUC,TION, FtMX 3
MMM, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council
has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments
for 1989 Weed Eradication and Destniction, Roll 3 Charges as provided by the
City Ordinances and has amended such proposed assessment as it deans just;
NOW, 'IIEREYORE, BE IT M;EBY RESMVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLM40UTH, MINNESOTA
1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
apart thereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special
assessment against the land named therein and each tract of land herein
included is hereby bound to be identified by the ammmnt of the assessment
levied against it.
2. Such assessments shall be payable over a period of one year.
3. Assessments may be paid in full to the City of Plymouth Finance Director
by March 28, 1990 without additional charge. After March 28, 1990 daily
interest charge based on an anmol rate of 8.008 starting on Febnmary 27,
1990 will be due in addition to the levied assessment. The last date a
Payment can be accepted by the City of Plymouth is November 15, 1990.
After that date miterest shall be added from the date of this resolution
until December 31, 1991 and payment can only be node to Hennepin County
with the 1991 property taxes.
4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this
assessment to the county Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax
lists of the county and such assessments shall be collected and paid over
the same manmr as other municipal taxies.
5. The total cost of the 1989 Weed Eradication and Destruction, Roll 3
charges assessed by this resolution are $8,514.40.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ricker ,and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Ricker,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Helliwell.
Whereupon the Resolution was declared *duly passed and adopted.
