Pursuant to due cal and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 8th day of February , 1990.
The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, ounci ]members a iwe , —
Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent-.— one
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-113
PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING -
APPOINTMENT OF ARCHITECTURAL SELECTION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the 1990-94 Capital Improvement Program contemplates the construction of a
Public Safety building; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that planning for this facility should
commence immediately in order that the project may be completed in 1991; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager in his memorandum of January 31. 1990 has reccumended the
appointment of a Architectural Selection Committee to solicit proposals and make a
recommendation to the Council with respect to the selection of an architect for the
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that an Architectural Selection Committee for the Public Safety building
project is hereby appointed to solicit proposals from architectural firms for the
public safety building project and report its recommendations to the City Council as
soon as practicable.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following individuals be appointed to this committee:
City Councilmembers Ricker and Zitur,
Public Works Director Fred Moore,
Public Safety Director Dick Carl qui st,
Police Lieutenant Dennis Paulson,
Chief Building Official Joe Ryan,
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken — thereon, --the
