HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-112CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e�$—tF day of February 1990. The following members were present: _Mayor Bergman, ouncilmembers a Siwe , — Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: one Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-112 PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE BUILDING - ARCHITECTURAL SELECTION COMMITTEE WHEREAS, the 1990 Capital Improvement Program for the City contemplates the need to expand the Public Works Maintenance building; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and approved the 1990 Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, the City Manager in his memorandum dated January 31, 1990 has recommended the appointment of an Architectural Selection Committee to solicit proposals and make a recommendation to the Council with respect to the selection of an architect for the project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that an Architectural Selection Committee for the Public Works Maintenance building expansion project is hereby appointed to solicit proposals from architectural firms and report its recommendation to the City Council as soon as practicable. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following individuals be appointed to this committee: City Councilmembers Vasiliou and Helliwell, Public Works Director Fred Moore, Chief Building Official Joe Ryan, Public Works Maintenance Superintendent Jim Kolstad, and Park Maintenance Superintendent Mark Peterson The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Counciimember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon; the following voted n favorthereof: Mayor --Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur .The following voted againsta. abs a ne one Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
