HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-102CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of February , 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Berm, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-102 ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE - STREET AND UTILITIES 45TH AVENUE TO SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD WATERMAIN WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE TO PINEVIEW LANE CITY PROJECT NO. 011 WHEREAS, street and utility improvements are required as follows: West Medicine Lake Drive - Street and Utilities - 45th Avenue to Schmidt Lake Road. Schmidt Lake Road - Watermain - West Medicine Lake Drive to Pineview Lane. AND WHEREAS, said improvements are proposed as part of the 1990 Capital Improvements Program; and WHEREAS, a Preliminary Engineering Report is required to define the necessary improvements and estimated cost. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvements be referred to Strgar- Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. FURTHER, that the work shall be in accordance with the existing "Engineering Services Agreement." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Berman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, , Vas 1iou. and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
