Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day
of Februarys 19_20 The following members were present:
Mayor Bergman councilmembers Helliwell Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 90-100
ACCEPT FINAL REPORT FROM THE WEST HENNEPIN HUMAN SERVICES ON THE HOME ENERGY
CHECK-UP PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO RELEASE GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, in June 1987, the City of Plymouth agreed to act as the sponsoring
unit of government for the Home Energy Check-up Program in Plymouth and St.
Louis ^ark; and,
WHEREAS, through the utilization of these funds and funds provided by Northern
States Power Company to implement the program to improve energy conservation
for low to moderate income and high consumption homeowners in those cities
through the use of energy audits, education in energy conservation methods,
and the installation of energy conservation devices; and,
WHEREAS, audits have been completed on a total of 337 homes in Plymouth; and,
WHEREAS, West Hennepin Human Services has provided a final report describing
the scope of services, implementation process, and results;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does accept the report by West
Hennepin Human Services for the Home Energy Check-up Program and to authorize
the City Manager execute the final release of the grant funds.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers
Helliwell, Ricker. V__asiliou. and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
