Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of February
1990. The following members were present: ,
Helliwell, Zitur, Bergman, Ricker, Vasiliou
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90- 98
APPROVING APPRAISALS FOR EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
CITY PROJECT NO. 833
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has authorized the undertaking of City Project 833, Hwy.
169 Frontage Road Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the use of the Eminent Domain Statutes and the
Quick Take Procedure in order to acquire the necessary right-of-way in a timely manner;
and
WHEREAS, the City has obtained an appraisal report of the damages to be incurred to the
Thompson Lumber Co. property as a result of the project; and
WHEREAS, BCL Appraisals, is a professional real estate appraisal firm properly
certified with appropriate credentials; and
WHEREAS, the appraisal report is in the proper form and prepared in accordance with
professional appraisal standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the appraisal for the damages to said Thompson Lumber Co. property in
the amount of $2,000 is approved.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Helliwell, Zitur, Berman, Ricker, Vasiliou ,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
