HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-084CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _ regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of February , 1990. The following members were present: , Mayor Bergman Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmemher Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-84 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF DRIVEWAY EASEMENT BLOCK 2, SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, the developer of Scherer Industrial Development has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following driveway easement within Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development: The west 15.00 feet of the east 226.18 feet of Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, except the north 35.00 feet thereof. and The west 15.00 feet of the east 241.18 feet of Block 2, Scherer Industr.--ai Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, except north 35.00 feet thereof. and That part of Block 2, Scherer Industrial Development, according to the recorded plat thereof, lying 15.00 feet on each side of the following described line: Commencing at the northeast corner of said Block 2; thence on an assumed bearing on North 89 degrees 03 minutes 04 seconds west 226.18 feet; thence South 01 degrees 14 minutes 52 seconds East 50.00 feet to the beginning of said line; thence North 89 degrees 03 minutes 04 seconds West 171.00 feet; thence South 20 degrees 56 minutes 56 seconds West 121.00 feet; thence South 55 degrees 26 minutes 32 seconds West 128.12 feet to the intersection with the centerline of Nathan Lane and said line there terminating. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of February 26 1990 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
