HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-070CITY OF PLYMOUTH 0 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 22nd day of Januar , 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman—ncilmembers Hell1well, Ricker, and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-70 APPROVING VARIOUS CITY COUNCIL POLICIES WHEREAS, the City Council has directed that various policies be prepared in an attempt to clarify and communicate the City Council's perspective with respect to issues not addressed in the City Code; and WHEREAS, the Council desires to maintain such policies in an up-to-date fashion; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received a staff report dated January 18, 1990 which recommends amendments to the policy concerning public use of the City Fire Stations and the adoption of a new policy relating to sidewalk and trail snow removal. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does: Authorize amendments to the Council's existing policy concerning the public use of city fire stations; and FURTHER, authorizes the adoption of a policy concerning sidewalk and trail snow removal; and FURTHER, that the city staff is directed to distribute the revised policies to city Policy manual holders, and communicate the new sidewalk and trail policy to the public as appropriate. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote beinq taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
