HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-051CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of TanuarY , 1990. The following members were present: , _14gyor Bereman. Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, and Vasiliou , The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur Counrilmember Helliwell introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-51 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 3 AND FINAL 1989 STREET IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO'S 517, 720, 813, AND 817 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Valley Paving, Inc. as contractor, have entered into an agreement for the 1989 Street Improvement Project, City Project No's 517, 720, 813, and 817 said agreement being dated June 9, 1989; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $74,367.65 change orders were approved in the amount of $0.00 (zero) and the value of the work to date is $74,696.37 and is herewith approved. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for the 1989 Street Improvement Project and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 3 and Final in the amount of $6,532.86 to Valley Paving, Inc. for the 1989 Street Improvement Project is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the some forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by councilmnmber Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
