Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of January ,
1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, CouncilmemberG ,
Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-01
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE
DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN
LOT 2, BLOCK 2, HERITAGE WEST ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of a utility and drainage easement
in Lot 2, Block 2, Heritage West Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for Janizary 2,
1990, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of January 2, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 2, 1990, to inform any and
all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of a utility and drainage
easement in Lot 2, Block 2, Heritage West Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL C? THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following utility and drainage easement be vacated:
That part of the drainage and utility easement in Lot 2, Block 2, Heritage
West Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows: Beginning
at a point on the East line of the West 10.00 feet of said Lot 2 a distance
of 70.37 feet North of the South line of said Lot 2 as measured along said
East line of the West 10.00 feet of Lot 2; thence northerly along said East
line of the West 10.00 feet of Lot 2 a distance of 31.50 feet; thence
deflecting to the left 90 degrees a distance of 0.50 feet; thence deflecting
to the left 90 degrees a distance of 31.50 feet; thence deflecting to the
left 90 degrees a distance of 0.50 feet to the point of beginning.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. Vasiliou and ,
. Zitur

Whereupon the Resutution was declared duly passed and adopted.
