HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1968-242EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA October 21, 1968 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on October 21, 1968 at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway No. 55, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen, HuntThe following members were absent: item. Humphrey Councilman Hunt introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: "RESOLUTION NO. 68-242 A RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN REARRANGEMENT IN MEDICINE LAKE PARS THIRD DIVISION. WHEREAS, pursuant to due and proper notice according to law a public hearing was held by the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth at its regular meeting on October 21, 1968 to consider vacation of certain streets and alleys in Rearrangeme in Medicine Lake Park Third Division and, WHEREAS, at such hearing all persons desiring to be heard were given such opportunity after which said public hearing was declared closed by the Mayor. NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the following described streets and alleys in Rearrangement in Medicine Lake Park Third Division are hereby declared to be vacated: All of 25th Avenue North lying between Blocks 9 and 12, Rearrangement in Medicine Lake Park Third Division Hennepin County, Minnesota and lying between the Northerly extension of the East line of said Block 12 and the following described ,. i line: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Block 9; thence South on an extension of the West line of said Block 9 to an intersection with the Northeasterly extension of the Westerly line of said Block 12; thence Southwesterly along said Northeasterly extension to the Northwest corner of said Block 12 and there terminating, -also- All of the alleys as laid out and platted in Block 12, Rearrangement in Medicine Lake Park Third Division Hennepin County Minnesota. 2. That the Village Clerk -Administrator is hereby directed to furnish a certified copy of this resolution to the applicant for such vacation." The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hagen and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen, Hunt. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being. the duly qualified and acting Clerk -Administrator of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby. certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing' extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said village held October 21, 1968, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to vacating certain streets and alleys in Rearrangement in Medicine Lake Park Third Division.
