HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1968-241{ 5h VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular - special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 14th day of October , 1968 The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Humphrey, Hagen, Hunt and O'Fallon and the following members were absent: Councilman Hagen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68-241 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the following street*, to -wit: West Medicine Lake Road between County Road Y9 and 49th Avenue State Aid Project by bids were received, opened and tabulated accord±meg to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. McCrossan $126,554.95 Suburban Paving $141,970.46 and, WHEREAS, it appears that Jerome Begin Contracting of 12615 Rockford Road, Mpla.,M-Lints the lowest responsible biddsr. NOw, THEREFORE, B8 IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "1. The Maycr and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter Into the attached contract with Jerome P. Begin Contracting of 12615 Rockford Rd.! Mpls., Minn. in the name of the Village of ;lymouth for the improvement of the following street*, to -wit: West Medicine Lake Road between County Rd. #9 and 49th Ave. by according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office o: the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorised and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt the following voted in favor thereof: and upon vote being taken thereon, Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Humphrey, Hagen, Hunt and O'Fallon The following voted against the same: None The following were (absent) (abstained from voting): None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. t STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) 5S.
