Councilman Hagen introduced the following resolution and Moved its if " RESOUNIOM No. 68x212" A RBSOL TI'ION CO'IRIIING AMID ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT FOR ORLEANS LANE SANITARY SEWER PROJECT x ti WHEREAS, pursuant to due and proper notice according to law an assesasnt bearieq was he on the 19th day of September, 1968, relating to the Orleans Lane Sanitary Sewer Project. WfumxAB, all persons present desiring to be heard were heard and their objections, if any. Were noted � NOW, THEREFORE, W IT MWW RESOLVED BY Tg8 VILLIIDB COUNCIL -OF Tg8 VILLAGB OF F MCRTl'8r; MIMNESOTA, AS.3+OL ONS: "l. The Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the Village engineers heretofore selected by this council for such purpose, calculated the proper amounts to be specially assessed for Orleans Lane Sanitary Sewer Project ' against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land, in accordance with the provisions of law, and banpreparedand filed in his office tabulatedlstatementa in duplicate showing the proper description of each and every lot, piece or parcel of land to be specially assessed ". in the, Amount calculated against the sauce, 1. Provo sed assessment. i }h1�Q' 4�; kz55i �3. .The proposed assessment has at all time since its filing been open to inspection and copying by all persons interested, and an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their objections, It any, to such proposed assessment,, or to any Item thereof, and fourobjections have been filed. 4. This Council finds that each of the lots, places or parcels of ,land enumerated in said proposed assessment was and is specially benefited by the construction of Orleans Lane Sanitary Server Project. in the amount is said proposed assessment set opposite the description of each such lot, piece or parcel of land and that said amount is hereby levied and assessed. S. Such proposed assessment is affirmed, adopted and confirmed, and the sums fixed and the sumps fixed and named in said proposed assessment .,with the changes and"alterations hereinabove made are affirmed, adopted and confirmed as the proper special asse"nt for each of said lots, pieces or parcels of land respectively. G. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted and confirmed shall be certified to by the Village Clerk and filed in bis office and shall thereupon be and constitute the special asseo mart for Orleans Lane Sanitary Sewer Project. y. The amounts assessed against each lot, piece or parcel of land shall bear interest from the date hereof until the have been paid at the rats of sir per annum. 6. Asch assessments shall be payable in 30 equal annual installments payable on the let day of January in each year, beginning in the year 19 69 , and continuing until all of said installments shall have been paid. mach installment to be collected with taxes collectable during maid year by the County Auditor. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date hereof to December 31, 19AS . To each subsequent installment shall be added interest for or;L fear on all unpaid installments. 9.= The Village Clerk is hereby directed to make up and file in the office of"the County Auditor of Hennepin County a certified statement of the " amount of all of much unpaid assessments and the amount which will be duetherew on the letday January of Ja1ru in cad► year.
