Home My WebLink AboutCity Council Resolution 1968-112EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held at the Village Mall on May 20, 1968, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen, Hunt and Humphrey. Th. following members were absent: None. Councilman Hagen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: "RESOLUTION NO. 68-112" A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, AND CLERK-AIP41NIST AATOR TO EXECUTE CONTRACT WITH 14ORTPERN STATES POWER COMPANY WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth has assumed the operation of the Hadley Hills Water System, and WHEREAS, Northern States Power Company has ^ade a proposal to furnish the electric energy for said Water System, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Village Council hereby accepts the offer of Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, to furnish the electrical energy necessary for the operation of municipal water pumping and associated equipment at the Village's pumping stations, and hereby approves all rates, terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the proposed form of Municipal Water Pumping Contract made a part of the offer of said Company, and the"Maydr.and Clerk -Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid Contract, and any instruments ancillary thereto, for and in the name of the Village, and to affix the corporate seal tbereto. The above motion was seconded by Couucilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Nilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Humphrey, Hagen and Hunt. The following voted against: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
