OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, 14INNESOTA
April 8, 1968
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
'Village Council of the Village of Plymou,h was held oL April 8, 1968,
at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway '4o. 55, commencing at 7:30
o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen Humphrey, Hagen and Bunt. The following members were absent:
Councilman O'Fallon.

Councilman Hagen introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
"Resolution :No. 63-75"
A RESOLUTION DISMISSING OFFICER BRUCE W. JOHNSON
FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of this Council adoptM March 11,
1968, the Village Attorney has investigated the conduct of Officer Bruce
Johnson and has prepared charges with respect thereto, and
WHEREAS, said charges have been furnished the members of the Council
and Officer Bruce Johnson's representative, and
WHEREAS, the members of the Village Council have studied such charges,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. That on the basis of the information l,c-!sented by the
Village Attorney said Officer Bruc,a W. roi,nson be and
he i ereby is dismissed as an officer of ti,e Police
Department of the Village of Plymouth.
The above motion was seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen
Hagen and Hunt. The following voted against: None. The following
abstained., Councilman Humphrey.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular
meeting of the Village Council of the said village held April 8, 19680
with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full,
true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to
the dismissal. of Officer Bruce W. Johnson from the Police Department
of the Village of Plymouth.
